The warm and inviting Murad Beauty Room
For me a facial is one of the best forms of relaxation. You lie back, let someone else give your skin a fantastic cleanse and with any luck come out looking brighter and more rested. So I’m always looking to try out new treatments.
Today I decided to go for the Murad Pom-Power Pore Cleansing Facial. An express 30 minute treatment to cleanse and tone skin and leave it feeling refreshed.
I have a confession to make. I haven’t been to the gym. I haven’t been to the gym in a really long time! And the totally daft thing about it is that I actually enjoy exercising. I’ve run 3 marathons, 4 half marathons and lots of 5 and 10ks, but because I’m not training for an event at the moment I seem to have let working out disappear from my routine and life.
3rd London Marathon complete and a PB!
This morning I read a post by Franny over on Frilly Pretty Things about getting fit, and I’ve got to say she’s inspired me to dust off my trainers and get my butt into the gym.
To say I’m excited that our honeymoon is booked is probably a bit of an understatement. I’m literally bouncing with excitement and there’s still 8 months to go! The flights and hotels are booked and we’ve got a sort of itinerary planned, which has made me start to think about what clothes I should be packing for a holiday of 3 parts.
Here’s what I’m loving this month
I’ve never done a favourites post before but I’ve tried out some great things in the past month so I thought it would be a great time to share them with you. If anyone would like to know anything more about the items feel free to ask, these are just a brief intro into what I was loving in July! Continue reading
I’ll start by saying I love a list. I enjoy being organised. Excel is my friend. And so it makes total sense that my best friend gave me a wedding planner as an engagement gift. It’s a beautiful cream A5 Moleskin book with lots of space for all my notes and ideas. And then when Lee and I went shopping we saw a great planner by BusyB. It’s bigger than my moleskin book and has pockets to drop in leaflets and cut outs. We decided that the planner from Nikki could be for my handbag and we bought the BusyB planner to keep at home. Then I got a free wedding ideas notebook with Perfect Wedding magazine. This is just a simple book with plain pages. Nothing fancy but perfect sized for throwing into my handbag and scribbling down thoughts as I had them. I should point out that before this freebie I’d started to worry that my beautiful cream planner was going to get dirty and dog-eared being lugged around in my handbag. And this is where my problem lies.
Just so you know I’m not about to get all deep and meaningful, I actually mean ‘why am I here?’ in the most literal sense.
March To The Aisle was 2 months old at the weekend (doesn’t time fly), and although it had been an idea in my head for a while, it took nearly 6 months for me to publish my first post to the big wide world.
